    Re: Good cheap gun's to hide around the house I have a couple of makarovs that I keep in the Garage and Kitchen. I got both for abut $225. They are small, cheap and reliable(in my experiance). Hornady sells a nice little XTP hollow point amunition for the Mac.

    Re: Remington 7400 accuracy? One of the problems with the rifle is its accuarcy degrades as it heats up. For shooting groups and sighting in a scope I shoot only on a cool barrel. If I shoot a string more than 3 rounds, they spread out big time.
