    Vintage Sniper prone

    The Vintage Sniper match is 10 shots at 300 yds and 10 shots at 600 yds. There is a time limit of 20 sec target exposure for each shot. I'm shooting a Swedish Mauser , M96 with a 4# Weaver scope. We can use a club supplied sand bag in the front but nothing in the rear,except shoulder or support...

    Vintage Sniper prone

    I'm having a ^#)& of a time, trying to control the rifle in recoil. I can do alright with a bipod and rear bag, but it is not working in VS prone. I'm shooting a Swede 6.5x55 with the high scope base. binski

    Re: Shot group at 600 yds Hell,its hard to ignore at my age!I loaded up some rds today,but could't get to the range yet.Still trying to keep the rifle from bouncing.Maybe more work with the 40X at 100. binski

    Re: Shot group at 600 yds Thats what I was doing for my two grandsons,after they took to putting the smack down on me.Then they got a wiff of perfume and havn't shot since!I hope they come back to thier senses soon.You better make sure you keep that cooler full!!! binski
