    Ok so if I neck size I may get longer case life but accuracy in some guns may vary. I shoot 260 Remy so range brass is not easy to find. If I buy new brass or shoot brass from my gun only I would have an advantage neck sizing only if my accuracy is up to par. Correct?

    I think we are spitting hairs, I agree they are close, but a reloader can push the envelope and get more velocity out of a CM IMHO, I say this as I have done it. Amny of my shooting buddy's do the same. Whoever said 50% barrel life is full of crap, maybe 10% -20%.

    Head space could be the problem, however usually it is a dirty bolt or weak spring within the bolt.
