    260 REM or 6.5 Creedmoor

Lighter Bullets shoot 200 to 250 FPS faster. I agree the 140's are about the same. I can push a 107g, 108g bullet to 3220 fps out of my 260 same bullet in the CM up to 3440. I am speaking of the lower grain weight bullets, should have mentioned that earlier.

    260 REM or 6.5 Creedmoor

6.5 CM loads are usually 250 fps faster than the .260, this can easily be seen going to any load data website. You can load them the same but i don't know anyone who does. Higher velocity will wear a barrel out sooner, its not like I am comparing a .264 Winchester Magnum to the 6.5 CM but I...

123 Scenar or 123 SMK in .260 Remington

Anyone shooting these with good success? They have a good G1 BC but Sierra emailed me and said that bullet has a .242 G7 BC. I am wanting to throw them over 3000 fps and shoot out to a grand. I know the heavier bullets have higher BC but prefer a slighter recoil. I have also considered the...

How to Accurately Determine YOUR Rifles Trim Length

Sounds like a lot of work to do just to get a few extra hundred rounds out of the barrel. I see gaining nothing by doing what you described in fact beyond 500 yards variable trim length's could cause accuracy problems unless you are trimming long but to the same length. In the 6.5 CM your throat...

    260 REM or 6.5 Creedmoor

260 is #1 in my book as I reload and can shoot anything from Yote's to Elk. The 6.5 CM is a faster gun but barrel life is shorter and this is a known fact, however it is all dependent on certain variables. If you load down to keep that barrel in service for a while then you might as well shoot...

108g Scenar in 260 Remington. Anyone Shooting these beside's me???

I am having great success shooting 108g Scenars out of my 260 Remy. I dont see much load data or posts for this bullet, was wondering if it is a fluke or is there something I don't know about? Here is my load: 108g Scenar 46.5g H4350 Brass Federal Primer WLRM COAL 2.842 (.007 off lands)...

    260 Loads Only

Going back to the original post, here is my load I use for shooting out to 1000. I am shooting 108g Lapua Scenar's, seem to be shooting lights out for me. 1st three shots were .30 group at 100 yards. These are great for yot's and long range target. The 260 Remy is the best round I have ever...
