    I am sure the SSA-E will work, I sure hope so its better than ANY factory trigger and I bought one for my G2 SASS. There was a vendor recently selling them for about $190 on sale a couple weeks back. I use one in my SPR AR and I don't think I will want any other trigger after that.

    AR 16 or 18" barrel

    Depends on your desired application for the rifle... I built a SPR with a rainier arms 18" Ultramatch barrel in 223 wylde chambering w / intermediate gas length and I am beyond satisfied with it.

    Wondering what scope / mount you used? Mainly is that the 20 MOA recon, and a 50mm objective? I just purchased my SASS and a Viper PST 6-24x50 wondering if the 20 MOA ADM Recon would be where I need it.
