    175 GR in a 12 twist 308 ?

    Re: 175 GR in a 12 twist 308 ? My Savage Tactical, 1-12, 24" loves 175's with 43.9 gr. of 4064. I use mostly Lake City brass and Fed primers, getting 2660 +-30 measured 15 ft. from muzzle. I do seat kind of long though (2.875" OAL) Still .025 from lands.

    Re: Winchester 7.62 brass What's on the head? In my experience, Win Millitary has WRA or WCC stamped on them. Winchester comercial has Winchester and 308. It sounds like you have military. (7.62x51 instead of 308)
