    Here are some weights: I put my RMR on my Ruger 10-22 and my Leica Tempus is mounted on my VZ-58. So I guess I use "mirco" red dots for rifles. I never really made a distinction between red dots but you have a point.

    I have a short and light titanium muzzle brake with 2 ports per side. Length is 1.50" and weight is 0.90 ounces. Made by Hawkins Precision. I definitely recommend it.

    That is exactly what I did with my Carbon Fiber barrel. I had Hawkins Precision make me a titanium muzzle brake that is seamless and completely blended.
