Tubb's 34/35mm scope level is what I've got on most of my scopes and they work great. low profile and easy to adjust. I run mine just in front of my front ring which puts it further from my aging eyes, makes it easier for me to see.
I have used NF, Seekins, Sphur, Badger and APA. All of them are solid rings and worked great but I prefer the APA on my bolt guns and Sphur on my gas guns.
I agree with datguy. I also sent Stockdoc 2 of my Mcmillan HTG's and had him install the KMW Loggerhead hardware in both of them. I could not be happier, he did a great job.
So true - if they would come out with a 3-15x42 compact they would sell a ton of them.
I have 2 of the 2.5-10x42 both of mine have MOAR and they are great scopes!

I just worked up a new load for my 223 with 80 gr VLD's because i could not find any 75 gr AMAX's. I'm thinking with the results I had yesterday, I may not go back to the AMAX at least in this gun.

Try PRG I ordered mine today, and they said I will have it tomorrow. They had 14 green and a few gray ones left, out of tan.
