Re: .300 Whisper vs .300 AAC Blackout chambers, reamer
I wouldn't imagine it would be significant, however if you already have a reamer it would be pretty easy just to get some consistency across the board, just my opinion. Would also make reloads a little easier to somewhat standardize.
Re: .300 Whisper vs .300 AAC Blackout chambers, reamer
whisper can be shot in blackout, blackout should not be shot in whisper. While you have reamer could be worth just rechambering the whisper you already have to blackout.

I have a Win. model 70 in .270wsm. It is the super shadow or something like that. In the market for an aftermarket stock, I know the scope base for the WSM action for Winchester is a special one. When purchasing a stock will the regular short action inlet work or is there also a special inlet...
Re: Good shooting bag!
I prefer the red tac pillow over the wedge and triad bag. Much more usable height unless the extra space it takes up is a problem.
Re: What's the point of three groove rifling?
My understanding is that the 3 groove has wider lands and grooves while maintaining the same ratio of lands to grooves as a barrel with more grooves. It was described to me that this can help with getting more barrel life from the barrel burner...
Re: Are the PST's "combat worthy"?
I have pst, mk4, and USO. If I was in a life threatening situation I would not want the pst on my rifle. It isn't bad for entry level but not a scope I would risk my or someone else's life on. My pst as never completely crapped out, but I am not confident...
Re: Slippery scope on 338 Lapua Magnum
Gotta ask, had a couple of references to aluminum rings not holding a heavy scope? What is the logic behind this, I use nothing but aluminum with seekins and no problems. Isn't the contact area more important than material? Many really good aluminum...
Re: Alpha mags?
I have ran alpha and AI mags with seekins bottom metal in my T2. Sold the alpha, much prefer the AI. Smoother feeding and no bulging. Some say the alphas don't bulge now, but the AI mags work so well why bother with the worry.
