    Unfortunately the AX was just a loaner from AINA. It had to go back. However if I had purchased it, I would have kept the AE MkII I currently have. It's just an excellent rifle. I would have set it up in a different caliber and continued to use it or set it up for my wife.

    We should have one inbound when they are available. I do agree with Frank. Bushnell has a habit of delivering more than was promised when it comes to value and utility. I am thoroughly satisfied with the Elite 1600 ARC. I can't wait to try the new Fusion in a field environment.

    I think you will be fine with the Polymer rails. Look at the dust cover/rail on a Glock. I slid my light on and off for several years (before upgrading holsters) without and problems.     Rit will dye nylon. But the nylon you are trying to dye has a water repellent coating. You may get some darkening, but the end product is probably going to look like ass. Not sure why you are trying to dye it black unless its just for looks. Most of us try to get our rifles colored something...

    It's not going to turn out like you hope. It's all synthetic fiber that is designed to be water repellent. That means it isn't going to absorb dye well. My suggestion is sell what you have and buy what you want.

    I love the Atlas. It's my preferred bipod. However I use the Harris BRM-S 6-9" Bipods often as well.

    The Manfrotto 055XPROB is a great "tactical" tripod. It also happens to be what I use for my video work with a dedicated video head. You can get ball heads at many different price ranges. Pay attention to the load rating.
