I have a K318i and it is ridiculously heavy, almost the same weight as my Minox ZP8 5-25x56. Honestly the vudu 5-25x50 at 29.5 oz is quickly becoming my favorite scope for all around use.
So I have been lurking for a while now, I have made a few posts here and there, but nothing with much contribution yet. Now it is time to put up some meaningful data for all of you. I have noticed it can be hard to find load data on the Hornady 147 Gr...
Thanks. I really like how this rifle turned out. It is definitely a head turner at my local range. I actually collected all the parts over a year or so and then took them into the gunsmith (Another 3 Months). So I was able to watch a lot of videos and change my mind a bunch of times. It all...
Happy to help, I was in the same boat as you. Constantly searching with no luck. At least people can use this as a baseline for their own testing. If it helps the final load I did settle on was the RL16 at 42.1gr, MV 2825. I also have some RL26 at 46.5, MV 2878 as a back up.
Thanks! Well I have a Kahles k318i, and a S&B PM2 as well. If I am perfectly honest, the Minox is my favourite. For my personal taste I think the glass is the best for my eyes. I also really like the turret clicks as well. Some people had some complaints with the early versions having mushy...
I am pretty sure but can not be certain. They are not all circular. Some are horizontal and vertical at odd angles to be reflections of the internal lenses. There is also no cemetery to them and they do no move over the lense when i look through the optic at different angles.
This is true, I won't deny it. I personally think that QC should have caught it. I believe a watched a video about every Kahles scopes being hand assembled and individually inspected. So I am openly admitting I am guilty of thinking there QC was lacking on the scope I received.
Kahles...
I live in Canada. It can be shipped right to your door. You just have to produce your Firearms licence (PAL / RPAL) when checking out. Sometimes just the number on the card, sometimes they like a picture of the card. Once it is verified by the dealer it can be shipped directly to your house. No...
It took you three defective rifles from the same builder to learn your lesson? Maybe you should have jumped on here after the first one and you could have saved some time and money.
You have a great weekend to.
So I did contact the dealer where I purchased the scope as planned and they contacted Kahles about the problem. They were very helpful as expected. The rep at Kahles told my dealer that they have never seen anything like this with any of there scopes before. It is being sent back to be looked at...
Well If you read the whole post I already stated that is what I am going to do it first thing in the morning. Those 2 exact things actually. I just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this. Or possibly some insight on the process seeing as how I have never had to warranty a scope...
Well I just got home from work and had a parcel waiting for me. It was my new rifle and scope. After checking out my rifle I opened the scope box up and started to look through it and play with the turrets. I turned on the illumination and looked through the scope. While looking through the...
I have had good results with the 147gr out of my CM. I am reaching those speeds with low SD and ES
