    I shot my Redfield Palma rear, International front aperture sighted Winchester 52E today. It was cloudy with winds 5-18 mph from 11-1 o'clock, bench, front rest, rear bag, RWS Special Match. 50 yards. .365" average .283 best

    I shot my 40X today, 24X Unertl, 50 yards off a bench, front rest, rear bag with Center-X. I shoot down under a hill and the wind blew from everywhere, at times my two flags were pointing in opposite directions. Target one: .306" avg, .105" best Target two: .273" avg, .144" best

    That is some fine shooting and a fine rifle. What's a set up like it cost, $10,000? Having never seen that particular scope brand so I had my friend google check. I'd have to sell all four of my 52's to buy one. LOL...

    Very good shooting padom. I tried a bipod on my T1X once, it was like shooting off a pogo stick. Maybe I need to revisit it.

    Thanks. I'll try to get some photos, she's been used. The previous owners dad bought it from the CMP in 2004. The 0.403" on my smallest group was outside to outside, center to center should be 0.180" using . 223 as the bullet diameter. Thanks, Justin.

    Vudoo vs tikka T1x

    What does it cost to set up a Vudoo, without a scope and mounts? My Tikka was $452 out the door, $132 Jard trigger + $8 shipping and $65 of stock upgrades from Tikka, $657 total. IMHO a Tikka/ Vudoo comparison is like comparing a good German made pocket knife to a Case you'd buy at wally world...

    I've had my Savage BTVLSS for 10 or 12 years and have never had any feed, extraction or magazine issues. I guess I got lucky as it's accurate and the bolt is slick as a whistle. A very good rifle for the money IMO.

    If the hash marks in your scope are that coarse you need a better scope. The hash marks are so fine (15 points to the right of the decimal) that I have to have a magnifying glass to see them. I wet my thumb to check wind speed and direction, then figure in my head using Merlins short method...
