    I'm wondering what i can expect, in terms of round count, through my barrel.. I'm shooting a Remington 700 SPS Tactical AAC-SD 20" barrel in .308 w/ 1 in 10" twist in a heavy barrel I'm not sure what else factors in to barrel life so i'll name off anything that might make a difference...

    okay, but please define "huge difference". for example, lets just say with PERFECT match grade ammo I can hit 1/4" grouping at 300 yards...what should I expect with cheap factory ammo? Like a cheap white box of brass federal for example.. should i expect 1/2" groupings? 1"? 3"? how MUCH worse...
