    Best factory .308 ammo for my savage??

    I have a savage model 10 with a choate stock. I am reloading currently but was wondering what factory ammo would be the best choice. I am currently loading 168 and 175 smk's over h4895 with win and Remington brass and cci primers. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    RCBS competition die set for .308

    Does anyone on here have any experience with the rcbs competition die set for the .308??? I have been looking to buy a set of dies to get the most performance out of my loads. I will be shooting 600 yard matches and before I buy the dies I was hoping to get some feedback on them. Thanks

    Need a good starting point for savage 10fcp

    Thanks for the info I am going to order 168 and 175 SMK's to start if any one has any others that will perform well at 600 yards I am open for suggestions.

    Okay I have a savage model 10 .308 with choate stock. I have Remington brass, cci primers, H4895 powder. Now what I need is a good start for smk 175 or berger hybrid 155. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
