    I would like to find a match with a 17 HMR class. I know most will say it is because of ammo availability. I have a really tight shooter and would like to do some sort of competition with it.

    You really need to check out Areocharger Suppressors. Very lightweight and easy to clean. Super lightweight also.

    Ares BTR 2.5 to 15x50 might be a good option for you. I Have one on a 308 and really enjoy shooting with it.

    I thought the lock ring would allow it to rotate. Granted Iam pretty sure it is the entire scope and not the just the eyepiece. I appreciate the brand comparison. It helps me rule something else out.

    Thank you for the responses. How far out has anyone tested them fo clarity to one mile on a one MOA target, and can you see splash and target impacts clearly?
