    1” off fat end, shank was about 3/4” if I remember. I can’t remember exactly how much I took off the muzzle but think it was about 1/2”.

    You might be setting the shoulder back too far. After the first firing it’s up to you to set your sizing die to suit your brass and chamber.

    I can also convert a standard bolt to mag if needed. I’ve done a bunch of 6.5 PRC on T3x actions.

    In my experience what we’re calling chatter is more like a five-count oscillation or harmonic, approximately a tenth high or so, that an indicator will pick up.

    It’s actually quite common and works fine to JB the bases to the action. Helps on heavy recoiling rifles, heavy scopes, and non-lugged bases and rails. Heat it up, tap them with a hammer and they’ll fall off.
