    Re: Krestrel 4500 NV eating batteries? Watch those bad boys. My Kestrel batteries died while it wasn't in use and I had the dreaded "blue fuzz" corrosive crap in the battery compartment. Since it appears to be stainless there wasn't much harm but I am watching it carefully now. Tom
