never mind i fucked up i posted quick without a thorough read of the Whidden site a quick glance and it looked like the offered one sizing die with the Micrometer head and one without after a full read i see that there offering die "set" with a Micrometer seater and bushing or nonbushing FL...- kd185

Reducing ES and SD
X2 also index primer pockets and anneal to get better consistency what kind of coal were you getting? did you weight sort the bullets? crimped?- kd185

WC867 for 50BMG
210 is a low charge with almost any powder sounds like the pressure issue might have been from the powder charge being to lite was the neck all covered in soot like the brass didnt seal in the chamber? 867 isnt the slowest powder out there ive never played with 867 as i scored several 8lb jugs...- kd185

i am not an expert but a well read beginner swagger and i am of of the (old school) believers that lead makes a better bullet core matter than copper, steel, brass, aluminium etc etc so yes i agree with you the problem is lead is not machine-able like the other metals although i would love to...- kd185

I never said that What i am claiming is that a modern BMG rifle will not stabalize that bullet at all and yes greenhill and miller will prove that fact on paper- kd185

many many reasons 1. no available match grade powders slow enough to launch a bullet that heavy (possible some military pull downs but nothing readily available, easily accessible or of the quality to match the quality of cnc brass solid) 2. a bmg case is not large enough to carry an adequate...- kd185

I hope everyone realizes that this projectile will never stabilize for many reasons! It may look good on paper but that's about all it would be good for a paper weight ok flame suit on- kd185

Ideal .50BMG setup
Dont forget Dillon has BMG dies now (and there big $$$$) and Lee but there an odd thread pitch (but work quite well)- kd185
