Coup De Grâce, New Action from American Rifle Company, $899 WOW!

How’d you bend it? Want to do the same on mine when it comes

Rifle for 1200 to 2000 yards

If you reload, the extra cost on 300 Norma (brass, powder, barrels) is moderate over a 300 PRC, and it’ll outrun a 338 Lapua with less recoil.

Coup De Grâce, New Action from American Rifle Company, $899 WOW!

Just got off the phone with McMillan and ARC - they don’t currently have an inlet for the CDG, but ARC is going to send them an action soon. Looking forward to a modernized XM3 build.

    10mm powder

If there’s one thing I don’t love about 10mm, it’s chasing the brass. Particularly at public ranges, I’m always asking the guy 10 bays down if I can police up at his feet 🤣.

    10mm powder

You’ll be ripping and running with that fully supported chamber! My Wesson was super tight - needed a factory crimp die to get lead bullets to seat 100%. Upside is my brass looked beautiful, even after nuclear loads.

    Seasonal Shooters?

I don’t shoot much in the summer - with Louisiana humidity, mirage is a killer. If I do shoot it’s usually with the .22 at 50-100 yds. I’ve had enough days of a perfect called break that lands 2 feet below the target. I do like to golf too, but that’s more of a spring pursuit. The perfect...

    10mm powder

I got to 1250 comfortably within published loads with Longshot in a 6” barrel with those Montana 200s (tested up to 1325 with an experienced reloading yet risk tolerant friend’s fingers, using book data for jacketed bullets). The primers looked pretty flat but no popped primers / slide...

    Next ar dmr build

Upper is a little bit of a Frankenbuild since I changed parts one at a time. It’s a LH Stag with their standard LH bolt, white oak recce 16” barrel, PRI did the SPR riser and handguard, seekins adjustable gas, Dead Air flash hider under the Sandman. Consistent 3/4 moa groups are doable, with a...

    Next ar dmr build

I went through a whole set of DMR style configurations on my AR before I finally found one I really liked (I’m a lefty too). Ended up with a MK12 Mod H ish build on a LH Stag upper and I prefer it over more “modern” setups I’ve owned. Lower has ambi safeties but not full ambi controls. My...

    Suppressors New can from silencerco

Compared to a Nomad L or an Ultra 9, it’s hard to believe they came up with any secret sauce. When it comes to slowing down gases (which is all a can really does), there’s no replacement for displacement. PS - the permanence of cans really is a bummer. I was all hyped on my Sandman L, then WAY...

    PWS frustration

Did you try blackening the case and bullet with a permanent marker and trying to chamber it, the marker should wipe off where the issue is and that will help to narrow it down. What’s your seating depth vs factory?

    Labradar HELP

Note that while they are the best commercially available chronograph, Labradars are also finicky, giant pieces of shit. Do your projectile / gun settings match what you’re shooting? And is it aimed spot on? Small misses in either of those categories will lead to all kinds of acquisition...

    Spotting scope $1000ish

Get a Leupold MK4 12-40 off the hide. You’ll spend around $1000 used and they’ve got a TMR that is a great help. I won’t own a spotter without a reticle anymore - my days of calling misses as “uh I dunno 6 inches left” are over.

    Low recoil round to 1k

Good hunting round, never became too popular for target shooting. Inferior in drop and wind to 6.5 or 6 from a 308 class cartridge, but hits harder.

    Low recoil round to 1k

6 creed fits the bill really well and you can get match grade ammo at any sporting goods store. We’ve shot the 22 cals to 1000 and beyond but the wind calls are expert level with a 223 and 224 Valk is hard to spot.

    Suppressors on Muzzleloaders?

It is, but the caveat is that the can is welded to it. Bet it’s a bitch to clean!
