Im not really a competition shooter, but I am in the market for a quality hunting can - meaning short basically. Weight isnt as much of factor as footprint and precision. Need just enough suppression to tame the crack.
Does the maverick fit the bill for that job, or better off looking...
Why anyone doesnt use this method makes zero sense to me. But different strokes for different folks - we all over complicate this hobby to some degree.

...and? You have absolutely no context on my prep process, the mfg of the brass, how hard or soft ive pushed it through those firings - hell, you dont even know what cartridge it is. Just a classic case of someone getting out of their lane.
As with everything, the return on dollar is fairly linear for a good while, but at the top, it really starts to flatten. The items you're looking at are definitely well past the "most value" point. FWIW.
I have half of batch of brass that I fully processed over a year ago that just needs a mandrel ran through the neck and I want to mix it with with the rest of the brass that I'll process this weekend.
What I'm wondering is should I do anything to fully processed half (i.e re anneal, resize...
Theres just something so satisfying about someone insulting others' intelligence while simultaneously displaying their lack of something as basic as elementary school sentence structure.
Because many of them shoot very well, and its combination of jealousy and anger from those who spent 3-10x as much money for similar performance.
Theres not a lot of objectivity in this hobby.
CCI BR-2? You're not buying them for $49 or $69 unless theyre waaaay old stock or that reseller is losing money on each sale. (BR series are 40%-50% more than the 400 line of primers)
Has anyone ever had ~30.0gr Varget, CCI 450, Lapua brass, and a 105 hybrid seated ~.020" off not shoot at least decently? Of course it may not be optimal, but has anyone had that combo fail to produce 1 moa groups at a minimum?
