    DMR, Recce, etc arent specs - theyre uses. The specs change based on the situation. A "recce" in the pacific northwest is not a "recce" the desert. Same for "DMR". Pick your use, and build/buy to that use. Call it whatever you want, it doesnt matter. If it works, it works - name doesnt matter.

    For a 308 AR w/ a mag constraint of 2.830" OAL, is possible to push a 178 eldm fast enough to take advantage over the 168 eldm? (20" bbl and Varget).

    Barrel Vise recommendations

    A lot of reveiws for the viper, I found it too light duty. I currently run the davidson vise (similar to the viper, just bit more robust). However,once I finish my dedicated bench, im moving to either the A419 or Brownells. Those bushing vises are just so much better.

    They lied to you. They still pop up on retailers frequently. Just seemingly very little rhyme or reason to what they produce or when.
