    seems about normal for barnes/hornady/etc. If berger or lapua (or boutique makers) did that, id be annoyed. Ive never noticed an issue on paper or steel though for my purposes.

    my only complaint with TBAC is they still put threads ahead of the taper on teh CB mounts. Short of rendering all previous gens obsolete, I cant see why they continue w/ that design. The correct order of taper then threads on the SR is why I went that route too.

    Well did you ask if they offer a mil discount? Its not a bad answer - $35 is a long ways from "double the price", youd have to add 28% to the current retail price to bring it up to double the price.

    Your hostility is confusing. Are you upset people shoot subsonic, or....whats your issue? And you're being rhetoical, but there is something to be said for extremely fast twists shooting heavy 30 cal bullets - even down to 1-5". So not sure who you're mad at (or why), but direct it elsewhere.

    Thats contrary to what several are doing now. Faster twist is showing to be more accurate in subsonic applications. What makes you say that? (or are you referring only to supersonic?)

    FWIW, the KBs of the world are moving to ungodly fast twists for their subsonic offerings (300 blk @ 1:5, 338 federal, or whatever the derivative is being called at 1:3)
