    I'd be curious to see what a March 3-24x high master wide angle with a dual focal plane reticle would look like. Don't worry about making it so short either and instead focus on the best eyebox and giving it a not so finicky parralax.

    Weight not being an issue, still one of my all time favorites is the Vortex Razor Gen 2 and they can be found for $1200 used from time-to-time. If i were building a range gun on a budget it would have a gen 2 razor on it.
