    I usually bed 1.5 or so inches ahead of the lug. Everyone has a preference, but this has worked well for me on many rifles.

    I use it for 185 juggernauts and 208 eld-m in my .308. Suprising velocity through a bartlein tube and its a very clean burning powder.

    It's not that sensitive. I see less than .5 fps per degree. It will work quite well in your 6.5.

    You aren't going to get a fmj to shoot better than that. Get some 69 grain match kings. Your powder is fine. Nothing inherently wrong with spherical powder accuracy wise.

    1300 asl. I dont normally load the 208 eld as my typical choice is the 185 juggernaut. I did take the 208's out to 800 with no apparent stability issues.

    Lapua 308,155gr Scenars, anybody use them?

    Custom rem 700, 11 twist bartlein barrel at 22 inches. I load them over 44.4 grains xbr8208 in lapua brass. They run 2930 fps and are outstanding out to 900. Never tried them further.

    Ive had no issues gettimg 5 or 6 loadings with nickel. Necks will split a bit quicker than regular brass it seems
