    The reticle is basic, clean, and has stood the test of time. I have used it and if you like it, go for it. I personally like the MSR2 and the LRR series for S&B, but you can never go wrong with P4, illumined is even better.

    I would look strongly at March, but the nature of your rifle (production, not custom), you might want to save some money and opt for Sightron or even Arken. Both are very reasonable scope offerings at a budget. No offense. I have a Savage. But, it is not a AI or Cadex.

    I think one thing you will want with a Henry rifle is a very large eye box. Unfortunately, larger eye box means heavier weight. First reaction is Razor HD-E 1-6x.

    Mentioned before, but I have seen some really good results and great rifles built with Terminus actions. They have a good variety. While not always at the top of the marketing list, BAT is a consistent great action. For .50 cal, McMillan and Cadex.
