    223 rem bullet choice 1-300

    Plenty. I run mine at 2.495 on my ARC with the metal MDT AICS mag (2.5in limit but easy to increase by filling the plastic insert ) and 2.515 on the DTA. Don’t remember exactly what the freebore is. 20thou off the lands for both. There’s plenty of reamers out there optimized for the 223 80.5.

    Tikka is fine for 7PRC but probably a bit short for 300winmag for longer bullets. Have you considered a different caliber or are you set for 300winmag ? I’d do 300wsm if I was running a tikka actio Lapua brass is available, no belt, some factory ammo available.

    I bet you staball would be fine. I’ve been running it below zero in my 7Saw with cci 450. Never had an issue either.

    My 223 never had any problems below zero. Varget is faster burning than N555 and a much smaller case.

    I'd go with N540. It's the most temp stable out of that list and will easily give you 3550-3650FPS out of the 55-60gr N550 would also work probably even better. Bit more speed, bit less pressure, bit more case fill.

    That's one of my complaint about the Foundation as well. They're too heavy on the rear, requiring an insane amount of weight up front and the fore-end is too short.

    My DTA has adjustable trigger shoe... I'll never understand how come with the dozens of 3rd party R700 triggers, none of them are adjustable. Even BnA you can swap the shoe, but can't adjust the distance. I'm on the opposite side where I use XXXL gloves and even with the MDT elite grip maxed...
