    I just swapped everything over and it does feel a little bit better, I think the extra weight helped. I guess I need to put this thing to work with some dry fire practice and rounds down range and see how it smooths up. Thanks, Ian, for the reply.

    I’d agree that the original bolt is as smooth as my impact. Maybe the extra weight of the firing pin assembly will give it enough heft to help out.

    I ordered 2 bolt bodies from Preferred Barrel Blanks that are in stock now and hopefully shipping tomorrow. Been thinking about a Terminus for the shorter throw but if this 75 degree bolt is as good as I hope, then it’ll save me some $$$$.

    Help with new rifle $3k budget.

    Even though you’re not competing in PRS, have you considered just going with one of the factory class rifles like the GAP PPR or one of the MPA chassis rifles? They would hit right at the top of your budget but that wouldn’t matter much since you won’t need any tools for barrel swaps right away...
