I'd be ecstatic with 2750-2800, I was told 2600 in BHW's board. At that point I'd probably prefer to go with a longer barrel and extended gas system, but I doubt my partner would go for that.- Red_SC

Most of the data I'm finding is for long barrels, around 26". Anybody know what velocity is typical for a 105 hybrid in a 20" barrel? How about an 18" barrel?- Red_SC

Maybe a dumb question, but does the AR Warner tool hold the insert at the same angle as one designed for carbide? I was looking at getting one but don't want to limit my carbide options.- Red_SC

Thanks, I may take you up on that. Im currently using a Sandvik CNMG 432 insert in 1025 grade, in an Iscar holder if I remember correctly, but I want to try some other coatings to see if I can improve the finish on barrel steel. Accurate ordnance rifles?
Lost my alternator in Alabama, and Mark wouldn't let me leave until it was fixed. I had to argue with him to keep him from pulling Jason off the lathe to do the work for me. They gave me full access to their tools and a place out of the rain to work. You won't find better guys.- Red_SC

Why I will never respond to a WTB ad again
My average is pretty good. I've posted one that I remember and scored 900 162 Amaxes. I've responded to one and got a good price for a fairly hard to find rifle. Traffic isn't as high in that forum though.- Red_SC

TSA notice given to me about a Civil Penalty
I got caught in Milwaukee with 19 9mm Gold Dots in my laptop bag where I'd unloaded an XDM mag before a competition. I didn't get a fine, but was warned about the $1500 fine. I explained I shoot competitively and what happened, and both the TSA and deputies were as accommodating as they could...- Red_SC

Rifle Scopes SWFA 12x42 or 16x42 for .223 varminter?
