    Came close a few years back to getting AX50. I planned on shooting 460 Steyr with a 38in barrel. The main reason I didn't was the issues with the primers not being consistent.

    338 Norma Magnum brass expected life

    Kind of close 300nm Norma Brass. I shot it 8 times annealed every other firing. I cleaned it for the 9th and started to see case separation on about 20% so I chucked all 100 pieces just to be safe.

    Which scope for 1000 yard rifle

    I shoot ELR and run 3-27 on my .338LM and a 5-27 on my .375CT. You can use a lower magnification if you want but it's better to have it and not need it then need it and not have it. At most matches I and usually about 21 to 25 power most of the time depends on mirage.

    Low light scope

    I own a number of top tier scopes and the two the are the best to my eyes are Zcomp and Kahles. But S&B,NF and Zeiss are VERY close. Alot comes down to what looks good to you!!

    New CZ 457 24" 1.180 Match Barrel from L3i

    50 yard the top 3 grouped .300 with the PB have 2 of 5 groups .181 and .194 or better then tailed off from there. With R-100 about .600 to .890 Center X was a little better. Neither bricks of those 2 were great shooting in any of my rifles.
