    Shooting after concussion

Yeah that was my main concern, having your skull connected to a recoiling rifle and neighboring muzzle blasts for a few hours didn’t seem like a good mix. Of course, nowdays it feels a little uncomfortable telling random doctors anything related to shooting sports.

This is not how math works, is it?

Well, I never got around to building an AR10 because it was out of my budget. Then I got a great deal on a stock rifle for $600, and then changed the stock, trigger, handguard, grip, added an atlas cal, bought dies and components for it, then realized I needed a reloading setup too, so press...

    Shooting after concussion

So, skipping the story telling part, for those of you that have gone through post concussive syndrome, how long after symptoms subsided did you resume centerfire rifle shooting? Anyone in the medical field of expertise have some insight to share?

    Shoot or no shoot?

I heard a comedian the other day say something along the lines of ‘well you shouldn’t have brought a motorcycle to a car fight’.

    Rifle Scopes Vortex LHT 4.5-22x50

@koshkin If you have played with this vortex razor lht, could you offer your opinion on how it compares with the nf nx8 4-32x50? The razor is at a lower price point, wondering if I am still justified in leaning torwards the nx8.

If your business involves selling primer pocket brushes, primer pocket uniformers, and flash hole uniforming tools then the answer is an emphatic yes.

    Serious rear bag question

Both, holes and seam stitching failures. I think fill material and what they make contact with while deployed are the main factors. Waxed canvas so far feels like the best fabric for weatherproofing, durability, and friction against stocks or chassis in use.

    Serious rear bag question

I’ve worn out about 6 leather/hide bags. Didn’t take too long. Cordura or canvas bags seem to hold up much longer.

    6.8 SPC II Bullet Options

Its definitely not a prs chambering, but has its niche with hunters and sbr guys. IMO it really shines with 85-90gr bullets going +3000fps. Doesn’t give up too much performance out of a 10.5” barrel either.

    6.8 SPC II Bullet Options

I load speer 130gr spbt’s, but driving them real hard can only get 2550 fps. You are probably better off with 115gr or smaller to get velocities up. Those bergers may be too long, with the speers I’m still at 2.295” OAL.

Anyone have a good headlamp they would recommend...?

Fenix brand 18650’s are great batteries. I use flashlights daily and I have to recharge it like once a month.
