    Whoa, I hadn't realized that but just checked and you're right. I think you can still find sales on the RG3 but in general it appears to have gone way up in price. Kudo's to NF for keeping prices reasonable the past 5 years when everything else seems to have gone crazy.

    User error, over torquing? Again, these have been the premium mounts for years, now that other mounts are getting popular suddenly everyone throwing Spuhr under the buss? Just seems strange how only recently the chatter is getting louder? 🤷‍♂️

    I’m trying to figure out when this started. I’ve used Spuhr mounts for years and never had an issue with them. They used to be THE mount for almost everyone, when did they fall out of favor and get such a bad wrap after being pretty much the standard for high end for so many years?

    I had a US 3-20 that had a parallax which needed a pipe wrench to turn, spoke with Jerry first, sent the scope in and about 10 days later had my scope back, turned out to be improperly lubed field lens which means they had to pull the scope apart to repair. I'm sure Schmidt does not want this...
