    You're not too far from Pro Modular Performance in Austin. Very good shop. A good dyno should run you about 250-300ish, takes a couple of hours plus a test drive. PM me if you want some more details

    Do a legitimate dyno tune! Absolutely worth it. Even with entirely stock components it's a noticeable difference.

    For hunting: faster and lighter or slower and heavier?

    I have kills of almost all North American game, with a 30-06 and 150gr Remington PSP. Don't overthink it! Most of your lost game won't be from the $8 a round ammo, but from the shot you didn't practice for. Find what shoots reasonably well and shoot it a lot!

    I always heard Pilk fishing to mean hand fishing i.e either with just a line, or on a rod with no reel or extra line. My only advice is not to take it too seriously 🤣

    Axis are a great hunt! Some of the best hunts I guided were for bow hunt Axis. So many private places here in Texas, and not terrible driving distance if you want to save the hassle of flying with weapons etc. I can personally recommend 777 Ranch, as well as Texas Hunt Lodge.     Moving to austin tx area

    South of Austin is just fine too. New Braunfels, San Marcos area was my neighborhood for a long time. 35 sucks, but no worse than any other commute listed here. Green line is accurate! Also a lot of open country along the 130 toll, but still too close to Austin for my liking.

    My local Oakley store was actually very helpful when I had similar questions. They can do the whole show from start to finish, as long as you have your prescription. Also contacts! I never realized how bad my shooting vision was until I got my first set of contacts. D
