    You’ll get CA somewhere on none Alpha glass. Wouldn’t be a concern. CA is annoying but it can be managed.

    Cool. Like I said. I’ve had about $6000 worth of Steiner products with QC issues since 2019 … so not just a sample size of one but rather several product lines from Steiner … all had QC problems out of the box … which tells me people there are slipping with QC and they are letting things go...

    Mostly significantly dirty internals and terrible wrench marks from assembly ... some have also received back to back to back to back faulty warranty replacements.

    At that weight spec ... I'd rather just get a Razor LHT 3-15x42 MRAD ... 19 oz naked ... with LW mount its below 26 oz with excellent optics ...heck you could afford to install piggy back red dot and probably still beat 33 oz and have 1-15x capability ...

    I'd like a center dot illumination ... but full reticle illumination is a no go for me ... I'll use a piggy back red dot ... but at the same time ... I wouldn't be hunting with 30+ oz tactical optic/mount combo anyway ...

    I've had both the XRS3 and the DMR3 at the same time ... I do prefer the DMR3 compared to the XRS3 ... optically ... the DMR3 is much sharper with more color than the XRS3 ... I have the DMR3 in the G4P reticle and I had the XRS3 in the EQL ... I also feel the DMR3 is much more comfy sitting...
