Trijicon RMR has left the chat

Added some explanation in the OP. I didn't buy this new, but the previous owner was just as surprised as he said it never suffered any abuse on his part. According to Trijicon, the serial comes back with a build date of 2017 so it's held up for quite some time.

Trijicon RMR has left the chat

This is exciting, it's not something you see every day! No abuse or anything, just shooting. I noticed my hits were landing extremely low at 7yds while doing some drills. I tried to adjust it up to see what would happen and when I looked at the dot again, it was huge and fuzzy. I decided to...

    Sidearms & Scatterguns Handguns...show 'em

My primary belt mounted peashooter for the last few years. Before and after applying make up to the pig.

    Sidearms & Scatterguns Handguns...show 'em

I’m just some random idiot that was given the keys to a Ford GT. This thing is light years better than my skill level can justify and I absolutely know it lol.

    My P4Xi is broken

Okay I'll wrap this up for anyone in the future looking for Steiner customer service reports. They sent me an email letting me know that my optic was non-repairable and I'd be getting a replacement. I assumed this meant that I'd get a box with a new P4xi in it to directly replace the completely...

    Any 1911 aficionados here?

One of my very first carry guns was a S&W 1911 E series. There has been an 11 year striker-fired-only gap and now I have a Staccato P on its way to me.

    My P4Xi is broken

In my head they're a tiny little shop with 26 employees making these right next door to the shipping department. I want to keep that fantasy alive lol

    My P4Xi is broken

Steiner determined that they need to replace the entire optic. I never would have guessed that it was non-repairable, as it was only about 1/16" of play left to right. Oh well, I'm happy with a new replacement.

    Any F1 racing fans?

I heard there was some animosity between Horner and Helmut. With Max being loyal to Helmut, he's pretty safe in the team because no one is going to want to upset the star driver. That leaves Horner on the chopping block to ease the tension. The problem with that is, allegedly Horner and Newey's...

    Any F1 racing fans?

But is he chasing that anymore? He knows his prime is coming to an end soon and he's never been a Ferrari driver. For someone that's set so many records in the sport, it just seems fitting that he ends it in the prestigious Ferrari red.

2403-yard shot on a can of red bull, sounds like a load of bull.

I have no previous engagements with you. I was just interjecting to ask a question; to open discussion on something that seemed interesting. There was no need to open with such an abrasive response.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Wanted: Opinions on later generation "HK vp9" & "CZ p10" model pistols

I can do it without rotating the grip, but I still rotate a little to give myself the best mechanical advantage. Instead of swiping it with the pad of the finger I can push it straight down with the tip of my finger.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Wanted: Opinions on later generation "HK vp9" & "CZ p10" model pistols

I have to agree with you. I have small hands and most of that is all palm, so I've got short fingers. It's easier for me to rotate the gun counter clockwise in my hand and hit that paddle with my index finger than it is for me to push a button with my thumb. I have to rotate the gun a lot...

2403-yard shot on a can of red bull, sounds like a load of bull.

Truthfully, the only one winning here is the dingus making the videos with followers. Dude's getting paid to get made fun of. I'd take that paycheck.

Where can I find more information on this? I find it hilarious and very "old-timey" to think that at some point the government thought the average Joe could do that. "Well back in my day we could hit a Donkey from 3 miles away with our Trebuchets and simple math in the dirt with a stick. You...

The Folks That Gave You Great Treatment

Wtf? My 2K looked like it was brand new, it had so little use on it, but the display just stopped working on it. It's now sitting in a trash dump somewhere because Sig told me they wouldn't touch it and didn't want it. They offered to let me buy something new for a discount off MSRP (so...

Sidearms & Scatterguns Wanted: Opinions on later generation "HK vp9" & "CZ p10" model pistols

I don't count rounds but if I had to guess, I probably have 2500ish on my VP9T with PMM comp. I shoot 124gr out of it and I've never had an issue that I didn't induce on my own. Ran it through a 2-day long run and gun over the weekend and through dirt, rain and eventually mud - I never had a...

    My first Run 'n Gun

I didn't have any chafing issues with the leg strap at all. The only thing that did get rubbed to the point of being uncomfortable was my camelbak strap on my shoulder. I robbed a chest strap from another bag in my SUV and that solved the problem.
