    Great shoot as always thanks to the guys at Sin City Precision. I finally shot worth a damn this time out and wish I could make next months but I'll be suffering from swamp ass at officers training down in Texas. Loved that swinging target stage by the way.

    I've never had someone use my pictures but I have had people inquire about my sales asking to do the whole "I'll send you extra and you wire transfer me the remainder". As for buying I've had nothing but positive experiences. Got my Blaser Tac 2 and Aug A3 via armslist.

    Why not build one with your son? It would be much more memorable for him I'm sure. Otherwise if you want to blow the entire cash load on the gun I'd say Daniel Defense or a Colt. If you want to buy a gun and budget in a nice optic a Windham Weaponry ar15 will get the job done.

    I'm really interested in doing this and I live 5 minutes down the road. This would be my first comp. though so I am a little apprehensive. Is there anything else I should know before showing up other than round count?

    Best results have been with 72.5gr with a coal of 3.420" out of a 26'' DTA barrel.

    It might be a bit more expensive, but the Arsenal will always get my vote. Make sure you get some bakelite to go with it.

    5.56, 300 aac sbr question

    On my 11.5 SBR I run a H3 buffer, regular carbine spring, and m16 profile bolt carrier. Never had any issues when using wolf/tula all the way to M193.
