Common reloading powder selection for 308Win and 6.5Creedmoor

I use the net for reference, I still like books too. I will print off the web and write notes in the books. I have lost info with phone/computer crapping out. I also run a reloading log book with caliber specific info. And lost all the above with a house fire. Books/web as long as you blow...

    Angled vs straight spotting scope

Some really great info above. I have both and agree with the above, once you nail down your use and what may be on the horizon the choice will be more clear. When on the range either will do. In the field is where that starts to change. If your on level ground either will work any more than a...

    March 1-8x24 and 1-10x24

I have the 3x24 42mm, love the scope, glass is great and it tracks. I have it on a hunting rifle and like how light it is for the features. I am also interested in the 1-10 for a ar platform.

    Lone peak worth the money?

Speaking for myself, that’s my sheep rifle. Chasing sheep in the mountains will make one rethink gear. The older I get the more I upgrade my gear to save ounces. Save enough ounces and you start saving pounds. My moose gear is a whole different ballgame. I don’t have to carry that on my...

Rained all 7 days, 4 of them clouds socked us in, the other 3 days lucky to se 50-75 yards. We pulled out early because we traveled about 14 miles up several creeks and with the rain became deep. My two boys and I made it out without issues and did not break any machines. I am about to go back...

Hunting & Fishing Pics of your hunting rig

Most states I lived in, one could make do with a two wheel drive truck. But here in Alaska we don’t have the road system the 48 has and the 6x6 fills a niche. They are really shocking the places you can go with it loaded to the gills. The dealer had the pro, that under-bed tool box is nice.
