Nice batch of brass you got there. I need to come out to your range in CO next year so I can really stretch out my Valkyrie.

Everyday Sniper Podcast: Knowledge Bomb Edition: Rise of the Valkyrie

I couldn't get the 88 to group in my gun with my handloads. That was with speeds near what the Bergers were doing. But the factory 88gr were tack drivers, just super slow.

    Who’s the SH Air Gunners???

I was talking with one of the top airgun tuners in the US close to 20 years ago. He did a lot of testing on the bent and damaged skirts. He found that they did not make a difference in accuracy. The air would push it out to fill the barrel. He said if they were bent a lot, that would make a...

Everyday Sniper Podcast: Knowledge Bomb Edition: Rise of the Valkyrie

Looking good Frank. I knew you would be faster at your elevation than what I shoot at my house or at the range in PA. I used the tuner also. Messing with loads didn't tighten it up enough for me, but once I put a tuner on it really tightened it up. Now you got your self a hammer too.

Everyday Sniper Podcast: Knowledge Bomb Edition: Rise of the Valkyrie

Thanks Frank for putting this up here. This is my gun and load he is talking about. I have tried this load in some Hornady brass and only did 2 reloads with it. So far no issues at all. This was the 1st load with the Starline brass. There is no pressure signs at all with load. I assume...

    AutoTrickler V4

I got mine 2 days ago. I only put it together, I haven't put powder in it yet. But I did find out that a 1/4x20 bolt fits in the threaded hole in the back. Put some Teflon tape on it so it won't move and use it instead of shims.

    So I went full pneumatic

I haven't played with the FX barrel tuner. I have made the cf shroud with just getting cf tubes off of ebay and cutting to length. The idea of the tuner is proven in the rimfire and centerfire world so I am sure it will work. What Steve123 said is true. I have a Impact that I worked on and...

    So I went full pneumatic

They are expensive at first. But once you have everything then it is very inexpensive. Pellets and slugs are very cheap. And you can still get them.

    So I went full pneumatic

Interesting, how and why on the POI shift, random? Not trying to thread drift too much just curious. I think it is the thin barrel liner in the Impact. That and along with the way the barrel is held into the gun. I used carbon fiber tubes to stiffen up the barrel and that helped a lot. FX...
