I tell customers that if they want to test their system, put a higher quality optic on it, good ammo in it and proof it at 100 yds and then out to what your "max engagement" range...

    Got 3 back last week same day, same approval date. Tax stamp cashed dates of 4/13/2021, 7/13/2021, 11/17/2021. All 3 are the shortest I have ever waited, even during "good" times I always waited 11-14 months.

    You shouldn't have to do another background check. You fill out a 4473 to have a record of you taking possession from the ffl. There's even a box on the the back of page 1 at the bottom that a NICS background check is not needed because of a nfa check.... unless it's a company or local policy...

    I've been shooting their barrels for about 4 years now, and have installed dozens onto customers rifle builds as well. Haven't had one not shoot yet, like some folks said they have a break in period which I have seen go up to 150-ish rounds before they settle in. Not terribly bad groups mind you...
