    I had a friend dig out a lane below grade and shoots from a tree fort, pretty cool setup! He piled all the extra dirt up for some margin of error since there is a highway not too far behind the berm.

    Someone needs to do a side by side test, there is a website that tested binos. He used a light box to shine light through the binos onto a white backdrop and recorded the brightness and color hue. That was probably the best test ive ever seen. All others are subjective.

    All depends on use, a few factory rifles are offering a 1:7 twist. 1:7 should work great for heavies and all copper. Nothing wrong with 1:8 its the most popular.....

    Ya what you say!!! As soon as someone comes out with at standard with something in between a 7SAUM and a 28 Nosler im in....lol 3.300" - 3.400" COL with 195 EOL @3000+ fps is what i'm after.....

    Another "Tripod help" thread

    I bought this for backpack hunting. (ball head is too heavy for that) I think it would work great with a Anvil-30..... Im a newb but if you're running the Anvil-30 there is no need for the "leveling base" style tripod correct? Might be a place to shave a few bucks and buy a nice head...

    I never heard back from Manners but McMillan said they can inlet my Sako A7 in their carbon Game Warden stock. 28oz! CarbonSix wote back and said a 6.5 PRC in a Tikka style prefit barrels no problem. Damn might make a custom out of that Sako platform! Leaves more money for a scope. Leupold...
