    F T/R Competition How are you keeping track or your come-ups

    Are you just writing it on a piece of paper and taping it to the stock, or you making some kind of laminate card and writing all the clicks for 100, 200, 300, 400 yards etc. and hanging it from the scope bases? Looking for a good practical solution to keep track of these numbers.

    My 308 with a 1-10 twist, 28" barrel, shoots the newer 155.5 Palma bullets and the 175gr SMKs both pretty good with me yanking the trigger. I believe the 155's are going about 2900 fps. I dial up 13" for 600 yards with a 100 yard zero. I have only shot the 175's out to 200, so I don't really...

    Has anyone noticed an improvement in groups with the bipod mounted closer to the muzzle, and perhaps a longer forearm on the stock? I understand why barrels are generally long on F/TR and palma rifles but there just seems to be a lot of barrel hanging in front of the bipod. Been wondering...

    Re: 178 A-max load help. .308 So far my best two loads using the 178 AMAX are with Lapua brass, and Fed primers are 44 grs Varget and 42.5 grs of RL-15 in a 28" barrel on my FTR setup.
