Anyone shooting the 256 flatlines in 338LM?

Just a little addition here to help you guys out... Jeffvn is running an improved case and 101g of H1000. The unimproved cases will not get that much in it; 96g is about it maybe 97 after running the compacter over it. Just to add to the point of topic, we have many folks running this powder...

    WTC Wildcat Forming Demonstration

Here is a video we shot here at the shop detailing the wild cat forming process. Should give you a good idea of the steps involved. It is important to note that no two wildcats are the same with regard to process. Enjoy!

I have looked over the numbers and am awaiting for a 2nd expert opinion, but nothing I see shows that you should be anywhere near pressure with those loads. I've run them a few times and cannot see numbers that come even close to pressure. I am wondering if there isn't something else going on...

So it seems I was a little over the top on a couple of my starting load charts. I will review and update the QL data sheets as soon as possible and re-send. My apologies to all for this oversight.

So most folks want to mag feed when it comes to a 260, so that is where i start by default. And since i have no way to know what your lead and freebore measure, i have to start somewhere. But by all means, load em long; more room for powder. What powder are you using? It is possible that i...

Let me take a second to address inventory. These are moving out the door quite rapidly, so we are a couple of days behind on shipments. I have just added more inventory to the online store, so get them while they are hot. They won't last long, but don't worry, we're making more all day long.

Range Report Warner Tool Flat Line Projectile 122gr 6.5 Variant

Quick Load is a different animal when it comes to solids and especially the Flat Lines. It is notorious for over estimating pressure and under estimating velocity. This is a safety issue and I understand why they did that. But unless you manipulate the start pressure and weight of the bullet...

We have pointed several folks already third part exporters, including Reloading Intl, as a means to export small quantities to the individual, and we are happy to continue doing so, until such time where we have direct export. As to the costs, we can point back to the same conversation that has...

Depends on witch bullet you are talking about. The 30cal 160g is a mag feedable bullet, as reviewed by Frank here a couple of months ago. The 30cal 180 was designed with the intention of feeding in a 300 Win Mag. And the new 6.5 will load to mag length in any 6.5 cartridge intended for...

I get this question a lot and want to be perfectly clear, as just bringing attention to an industry failure has caused more concern than necessary. Somehow, folks are under the impression that a special seating die is required for the Flat Line bullets. This is 100% NOT TRUE! As I have always...

There have been some conversations with a few folks from Australia about importing, but nothing has come together as of yet. I know a couple of them frequent this forum, so perhaps this will help move things forward.

6.5 build with anticipation of flatline

I can indeed. I ran QL for a couple of RSAUM's today and 3500fps was no sweat with RL26 and no where near pressure. Yes, that's a 5, not a typo. I will have a library of starting load sheets for all the cartridge/barrel/projectile combinations that I have run to date available on our website...
