WTC Solid Bullets--questions from a neophyte

    1. You do not need a custom chamber. In fact, most will run a SAAMI spec chambers. They do not require a lot of free bore. Thus, chambers throated for extremely long jacketed bullets are the ones that will give you problems, if any. This would be due to excessive jump requirements. Just...

    37XC build

My point was that it seemed like you were fire forming with the loads conveyed. If you have previously fire formed the cases, then it should have no bearing on the situation unless the brass 8s too thin. Lets stick with the original plan and see what your groove measures before reading...

    37XC build

Did you really mean to say that your chamber, ie head space, is 0.030" long? If that's true, you're asking way too much without fire forming first. If this is true, then it certainly explains your pressure issues.

The "perks" of loading for your buddies!

And how many have you hydraulically dented because of improper application? Its not that it wont work in most cases, but when improperly applied, problems occur. And in some situations, like the one we have here, the wax simply does yield enough lubricity.

What muzzle brake are you guys liking for .375?

MOAB. Directs blast away from and around the shooter. Doesn't pick up and cover the gun or shooter with ground debris. Recoil reduction is maximised and bullet flight is undisturbed. And it is 'self timing'.

It will be the same for both and it will be at the top end of the driving band. That is where the .308 diameter ends. Everything else in front of that is smaller with the pilot band being a .302 diameter. Thst point is about. 510 from the base of the bullet.

    198 Flatlines in 300win mag

Our test results aside, based on their winning record at distances shot beyond supersonic flight, it is safe to say that they transition just fine. When we tested the Tubb ring addition, we found that they transition even better than what we originally expected. That translates to the mean that...

    Adjustable bases?

Holding out? No, taking our time to develop it properly. Gixxer- please explain to me how raising your scope above the bore, if done with precision, is a bad thing. Further, please explain to me how hanging anything with weight to it on the ftont of expensive optics is good for said optics...

Range Report Warner Tool Flat Line Projectile 122gr 6.5 Variant

I'd be happy to discuss the inclusion of the Flatlines with the QL folks, but they seemed uninterested last time i spoke to them. I do not share bullet files with individuals. The reason is that QL over estimates pressure and under estimates velocity unless weighing factor and initial start...
