    I would say it does not really matter. Whichever is more consisitent. Speed is nice for unknown target, but you will have a tougher time seeing impact. 90+ % of the targets will be easy enough to find and range, so i would say whichever you are more confident with. Good luck!

    The point, i believe, was to make a competition with rifles that you could ethically shoot an elk at 500 yards with. 6 mils are going to be low percentage kills. 6.5's will still be marginal. Kill zone size targets, to get people to understand their own capacity for well placed rounds.

    Distance from actual bullet will matter. The blast is controlled by the suppressor, but the supersonic bullet makes the noise.
