    Vortex has always been good to me and their discount program is very nice but the sky high MSRPs have all but made the discount useless at this point.

    I have a Shmedium plus 1 @ 7.5lbs and a regular Shmedium @ 5lbs both were done with one bag of git-lite. Trust me, I put way more into this than anyone should probably do and I can tell you that at this ratio I've seen zero difference in stability vs all sand. Weight savings was huge for all day...

    I wish they'd hurry, I keep fighting the urge to buy a used one. I've got a NRL 260ai setup that would look good wearing an AMG. Currently wears a G3 but I'm flirting on the weight limit lol

    A regular sized shmedium on top of the apex without any ball head or base works very well. Simple and not much to manage.

    I shot with 41gr H4350, cci450s, and Berger 133s seated 20 thou off with my SiCo Omega hanging on the end. Shot right around .5ish for me. Sometimes bigger sometimes smaller. Won a team NRL match with it as well as the hunting I did. 2915fps with an SD of 9.
