Night Vision Kosher Surplus GTG? / Contact here?

I bought some 1531s, several CQBLs, and some Eotech stuff from Kosher. Everything was shipped fast and arrived perfect. I also like how with Kosher you can view pics of the tubes and see the specs to get an idea of what you are receiving. I paid a little above retail for the 1531s. I was OK with...

    Steiner T6xi

I posted most of this elsewhere for someone looking for a 3-18 scope but thought I should add my thoughts here since it is the official Steiner T6Xi thread. The Steiner T6Xi 3-18x56 is a very impressive optic for the price. The more I use it, the more I like it. Last night I was using the...

    Best 3-18x

The Steiner T6Xi 3-18x56 is a very impressive optic for the price. The more I use it, the more I like it. Last night I was using the Steiner in rotation with my Hensoldt 3-12x56 and 4-16x56 in low light and with a clip-on. The low light and general optical performance is very good. The lit MSR2...

    Steiner T6xi

I think it is a pretty neat illuminated reticle. You can have it down low to just see central cross hair and dot leaving the rest of the image uncluttered. If desired, turn it up to see the remaining reticle for holds or measuring targets. It works well with my clip-on.

    WTB RRS TFC-14 MK2

Glad you found one for that price. The BH-30 is sweet. Mine has the compact lever release and it works great. I see that the TFC-14 is actually pretty short. I was comparing it to the 1545T Gitzo. The 1545T sits in height between the TFC-14 and the long Ascend tripod. Will you use it mainly for...

    WTB RRS TFC-14 MK2

I very recently purchased a lightweight tripod for hiking and backcountry hunting use. To clarify, this is not my only tripod. I have an older Gitzo 2 series 6X Carbon tripod with a RRS BH-55 head, a new to me RRS TVC-33 with TA-3 leveling base, and an old Slik Sprint Pro II with a padded cradle...

    Which .308 Shorty rifle

I sure do like my Tikka CTR in a McMillan A3 Carbon Edge. It is a very handy rifle. It is heavier than 6.5# bare though. It strikes a nice balance for me. It is a relatively lightweight precision hunter that can still be enjoyable to shoot 75 rounds at the range. I have not fluted my barrel but...

    Best hunting scope under 2000.00

FYI - I bought my last Hensoldt first focal 3-12x56 new in box for $1750. They can be found used in the under $2000 price range.

    Scope Choices

For a 308, I would go for the ZCO 420 if you decide on a ZCO scope.

    Best hunting scope under 2000.00

A Nightforce NXS 2.5-10x42 makes a nice lightweight hunting scope! And for $1600, is a nice scope for the money. For brightness, image quality, and a viewable reticle in low light; a Hensoldt 3-12x56 is pretty sweet!

    Oehler 35P still being sold

I have two. I love the reliability and accuracy of the 35p. They just work. I also like the printout, easy to take notes on and then take a photo with your phone for your records.

Advice on a 2.5-10x sfp scope for AR10

I will echo many of the others, the NXS 2.5-10x42 is a great little scope! I have three and have considered buying another. I do notice some distortion at low power but find it very clear in the upper 2/3rd of the magnification range. I was shooting it recently at 1000 yards with my Tikka CTR...

    Steiner T6xi

I would be more interested in a LPVO with less mag, such as a 1-6 with a focus on image quality and lack of distortion, than a 1-10. The exit pupil at 10 power just seems too small to really be of any use. I continue to enjoy my TA11 Acogs with a 10mm exit pupil, great glass, durability...

    Steiner T6xi

I just pulled mine out again to look at it. Huskydriver is right, it says 25 meters on the knob. I knew mine went down to "25" and was going off the 25 yards listed on the Steiner website.

And Huskydriver I have been wondering... are you into dogsledding or flying?

    Steiner T6xi

Splitting hairs, but apparently one of them is wrong. 25 yards equals 22.86 meters. I am just glad it is not 50 yards/meters!:)

    Steiner T6xi

t6xi-3-18x56 If you click on the link and select the reticle model, it will show the specs go down to 25 yards.
