I had a gain twist Bartlein from WOA that shot great , no better than my 7 twist, but just as good. I have heard that they are easier on the bullet jackets but I can't prove it.

    Strongest bore cleaner available

Really Really Stupid question, exactly what are you hoping to gain from super Duper cleaning the barrel to within the last parting Carbon? A bullet traveling at 2800 ft/sec won’t even notice it, but some of these chemicals can damage barrels if not completely removed before the next super duper...

    Strongest bore cleaner available

Get a bore mop, soak in boretech C4 insert into chamber and let it sit and soak for 20-30 minutes, once removed, brush with a nylon bore brush, wipe with oiled patch.

Acra Rail On This Bushmaster Help

I can’t find a picture of the bottom of the hand guard. The sides look like it does have some M-Loc slots. If there is one at the bottom you could buy an M-Loc arca rail and run off that.

    Faxon barrel blank

Not one I would ever buy, they tend to be bought on price alone and yes you can get a good one, or not.

Match grade barrel fouling after 40rds?

My cleaning routine for a carbon ring concern is to soak a slightly oversized mop in boretech carbon cleaner and insert it into the chamber and let it sit for 5-6 min. Remove and use a nylon chamber brush to gently scrub the chamber, patch dry, then clean the bore. Finish off with oil to protect...

Yeah mentioned above, definitely an issue

Match grade barrel fouling after 40rds?

No it’s not heat expansion unless it is just opening the chamber. Just a dumb guess, carbon is building up in the neck portion of the chamber, this changes your headspace which results in over pressure indications. I am a novice at reloading so if you measure your loaded cartridge and post the...

Match grade barrel fouling after 40rds?

So we are looking at heat expansion, slightly out of spec chamber or brass sizing, or a combination of the above.

Match grade barrel fouling after 40rds?

A test, may prove nothing but, after a 40 round test can you easily chamber a round? Does it pass a no go head space test?

Match grade barrel fouling after 40rds?

I am seeing some fouling on the neck, but the shoulder is bright. The neck is not sealing, but the shoulder looks ok. But then what do I know.

Match grade barrel fouling after 40rds?

Question, I know you are getting good velocities. It looks like as the “barrel fouls” velocity increases as does pressure, but goes back down when cleaned. Describe the appearance of your cases when shit right after cleaning . Are they nearly covered in carbon or still bright? What I am...

Match grade barrel fouling after 40rds?

No, there are tons of of things out there that show all kinds of icky things. But interpreting what you see is really tough. He knows he has a problem, be it bore related or ammunition related, his rifle fouls really easily. One question I guess I would pose, is the fouling carbon related (...
