    Recommend a watch that can plot a location

    Garmin would be my suggestion, I run the Tactix Delta AB for shooting stuff but also use it to plot points for an Adventure race and track all my hikes. It will do that and more depending on what model you get. Should be able to find a Fenix 5 or Fenix 6 for under $400 with a little searching.

    If your rifle has a picatinny rail and I don't have to take rings off my scope, I have a scope I'll loan you got the matches. I'll be their anyway so no big deal for me to bring extra stuff. That goes for anyone else wanting to try out the Maven scopes and knows I'll be at the matches.

    Bring it down to Steel Safari! For SAC you might want to have something lighter or even just run a carbine as the precision rifle. The shooting at SAC isn't usually super difficult, it's the trek you're going to be carrying all your gear on that's the brutal part.

    Yes. The Target card let's you view set Target distances easily for this. I have been using it for the Hunter matches and had good luck with it.

    I am using it for the Hunter style matches mostly which have a good time limit of 4 minutes to find and range targets on the clock before shooting them. The way I used it at the NRL Finale was to load targets, rewrite on a card to put on my scope so I did not have to scroll through the screen...

    It is a tool. It has a place. But After using nothing but this for the NRL finale, Steel Safari and a NRL Hunter match, I do think that it can be an effective tool. I use the target card extensively because I can quickly load multiple ranges then scroll through with one touch of a button each...

    Thanks for the screen shot. Unfortunately, the update does not let you update the targets in the Target card with the range finder any more. I need to be able to scroll through and update all the targets then go back to view and what I find is that on Target card with the update only updates...
