    If a gunsmith does not need YOUR action to produce a barrel then it is a prefit. These days you are able to specify manufacturer, length, contour and freebore required for your prefit. Not much, if any, difference between a quality prefit and a custom chambered blank anymore.

    I know for sure that a few Anschutz riles and every JP rifle I had bought came with a test target but that reflects the accuracy of the rifle system not just the barrel, IMO. Test target for a prefit barrel may be misleading to the buyer if they suck at reloading or even trigger pulling.

    Seems like they are much more focused on building pistols than rifles lately! I called over there to order a custom barreled action and they actually told me to call DI Precision if I wanted anything non-standard.......to me that said it all.

    That is still being discussed but I have a 1:11 Krieger and at 50 yards you could not tell the difference from any of my 1:16 twist barrels but move out to 200 yards and the fast twist shoots smaller by a decent margin.

    Simply put if you want a Vudoo off their menu you can buy from Vudoo or any retailer that sells their barreled actions. If you want a custom built rifle then do yourself a favor and reach out to @David Lott at DI Precision and can have just about anything you can dream up!

    Here are a few pics but for reference this is a MK4 6-24x52 in a pair of AREA419 1.25" rings and you can slide the entire mirage shield under the optic without touching, even a scope with 56MM objective would barely touch but would not interfere nor been seen from the optic.

    I shot one of my buddies Magnus K-RR and it's the best of both worlds, ordered one a few months back and trying to forget about it. It is not as quiet as my Nomad-Ti but the rifle acted like it was braked and saw every impact with minimal recoil.
