Funny thing about that, the accuracy required of a rifle varies significantly from one multigun match to the next. You can have a bay stage match easily won with a 3 moa rifle, then travel to a match in the southwest that requires a legit 1 moa capable rifle to do well. And plenty of match types...
Is there supposed to be a link here?
Regardless, you won't find many glowing BA reviews here. If you've already decided you're getting one and are searching for some confirmation bias this won't go well.
I believe that's what the OP is going for, but with a permanently attached high pressure can for extra oomph.
Is that only available in 300BO? A 5.56 with a normal length gas system would decrease the suppressor volume quite a bit.

Bringing this one back up. Had my 12.8" Grendel and my brother's 18" JP Grendel out to 770yds last Saturday. And my 6mm for what its worth. Pretty interesting comparison, both guns using ammo I loaded with 123ELD's, the hit percentage was almost identical. I was at 10.2 and 2 mils for elevation...
Thanks for the pics, this whole thing makes way more sense now. I didn't realize that the port manifold cut was helical and that it didn't go all the way around. Maybe everyone else already understood this and I'm just way behind.
Nope, I'm using cut mags and a notched lower. I can load to 2.4" and the only thing that happens when I try to load hotter is the brass takes a beating and accuracy gets worse.
I've got a 6mm Grendel/243LBC/6mm Predator, whatever you want to call it, and my numbers are almost identical to 6ARC. What's the shoulder difference, like .060? Not much. I might be able to achieve slightly higher max velocities but the nodes where they are happiest are the same.
Alright, I hadn't looked that far into it. I could see how spreading the impulse out longer by having the ports timed differently could make some difference.
I'm intrigued by this system, but I can't quite wrap my brain around how 3 small ports delivering the same gas volume and pressure as one bigger port can be reducing recoil.
The problem could use a better description if you want good answers. But, given that you said it's trying to load a fresh round while the empty case is still in the chamber, that means the BCG has enough gas to fully cycle and either the extractor is not catching the rim and extracting, or the...
I've never shot a 10.5", even unsuppressed, that wasn't harsh and violent. And they've all been reliable, although I'm not sure about long term parts breakage. I would never go out of my way to simulate more dwell time/recoil on one.
