Yes and no, the scale programming is different, while you can just set the required switches in the scale settings, it’s easier just to reset the scale to default, and follow the very clear walk through as shown in the ST manual- dttheliman

Let me jump in here - the powder supplies are not interchangeable, the polarity on the plugs is reversed , there is a setting on the ST that would switch off the ST supplying power to the FX , but that really serves little purpose, unless you were setting up say multiple ST’s on a single scale...- dttheliman
